We serve Fort Collins and surrounding areas, including Loveland, Windsor, Berthoud, and further! We will set up picnics in houses, backyards, parks, and everything in-between! For the Choose Your Own Venue option, we will charge $1.25 per mile round trip in addition to the total. There may also be other additional fees, including permit fees, entrance fees, or reservation fees for some parks.
We accommodate up to 6 people. Kids younger than 13 do not count as extra people and you will not be charged for bringing them.
We will send you a Google location pin about one hour before your start time. We will not be there when you get there, or anytime during your picnic, unless you want us to take a few pictures before we leave.
Absolutely! Food and beverages can also be purchased as addons, but our base package only comes with water. Our most popular addons are the charcuterie board, fruit tray, and sparkling cider. We cannot provide alcohol, nor are we responsible for any alcohol drinking that takes place at our picnics. Alcohol is not permitted at parks. If your picnic is at your house, then that is totally fine. If there is a special request, please reach out to our email. We will always try to accommodate you.
Please call or text if you want to leave early so the team can go back and make sure the equipment doesn't get left unattended. In the event items are stolen because they were left unattended, or accidentally taken home with you, we will charge the card on file.
That’s our goal! This is an addon when you are first scheduling. Additionally, you can text us at if you want to extend your time. There is an extra $ per hour or $15 per half hour charge.
Unfortunately on the front range, bad weather happens, but we can always reschedule. We will do our best to inform you of inclement weather, but it is your responsibility to keep an eye on the forecast. Our next question explains our cancellation and reschedule policies.
If you have to reschedule or cancel due to weather or any other reason, please notify us via email, phone, or Instagram as soon as possible. If rain is expected on the day of your picnic, we will add the Canopy addon for $30 to your total.
Reschedule policy: With 4 or more days of notice, we will reschedule you at no cost. With less than 4 days of notice, we will charge you $50 plus any food items we may have purchased for your picnic.
Cancellation policy: With 4 or more days of notice, we will charge you a $50 cancellation fee. With less than 4 days of notice, we will charge you $100 plus any food items we may have purchased for your picnic. Without any notice, we will charge you 100% of the total.
No deposit is due at booking!
We are happy to clean up after you. That is part of our service, and we understand about little spills! But if there is irreparable damage to our equipment, like stains, dirt, mud, etc., that we are unable to remove, the contact for the picnic will be notified and the credit card on file will be charged.
We sanitize and clean all of the equipment and kitchenware before every picnic. Our team members are fully vaccinated. We will not be there when you arrive unless you want us to take a few group photos before your picnic time starts. Hand sanitizer is provided complementary. No worries! However, this guest may not have enough comfortable seating or refreshments. Please be advised that Foothills Picnics offers 6 people maximum, and we recommend booking for all expected guests if possible, but we totally understand if more people drop-in.
